We read every message. A real person replies — usually within 24 hours, often sooner. Reports of objectionable content or abuse are triaged ahead of everything else.

01Account & access
If you can't sign in, can't redeem an invite code, or your account was removed, email us with the address you signed up with and we'll get you back in.
02Reporting a concern
Inside the app: long-press a message in chat, tap the more icon on a candid, or open Profile → Settings → Report a concern. We act on reports within 24 hours.
You can also email us directly at info@getcookout.app. Include a screenshot if you can — it speeds things up.
03Hosting & guest list
Hosting issues — invite codes not working, RSVPs missing, an event won't go live — usually resolve quickest if you include the event name and the date. We'll dig into the logs and reply with the fix.
04Payments & premium
Premium credits are charged once. No subscriptions. If a charge looks wrong, email us with the order date and we'll sort it. Refund policy lives in the Terms.
05Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app at Profile → Settings → Delete account. It's permanent and removes your profile, hosted events, RSVPs, dishes, messages, and uploaded photos. Content other users have already saved (e.g. a candid included in someone else's recap) may remain visible to those participants — you can ask the host to remove it.
If you can't access the app, email info@getcookout.app from the address tied to your account and we'll handle the deletion within 30 days.
